Living, loving, and learning in L.A. New to the city, with new jobs, a new place to live, and a new out look on life, Don and I are learning the excitement of living in the present moment and the joy of fulfilling the vows that we made on our wedding day to go where God calls us.

Oh no, I'm so sorry!
Knock on wood that hasn't happened to me yet, but my habit is to try to download the pictures every other day or so, just in case. I figure I spend enough time on the internet/computer that quickly plugging in the camera for a few minutes is just part of the routine.
I hope you get help with lots of pictures from your friends.
Oh no! :( I hate electronics.
I should be talking to Paige soon, and I'll ask her about the pictures that she took. Darn, we may just have to go back... :)
Oh no....that soooo sucks!! As a result of having corrupt cards in the past, I no longer take my card in and out of my camera to download the pictures--I just connect the camera with a USB cord and download them directly, so as to minimize the chance for unneccessary handling leading to possible corruption. It uses more batteries that way, but I think it's worth it in the end. (Especially with rechargeable batteries!)
Do you have any photos to share of the few you have left??? Now we really need Terri to start posting photos on her blog!
I use that card for my Treo too. It was our 2GB card! Ag, sickens me. Won't even let me format the damn thing.
Oh well, it was cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.
Got to thinking, many devices can't deal with cards over a certain size. Maybe the card was too big for the camera too. Either way, it's toast :(
We still have two other cards though, a 256MB and a 512MB. We should use the 256 for the camera from now on.
So sorry about the pictures. We will take some here and somebody can show me how to post them or email them. Sorry you have been sick too. Did the smoke from the fires make it worse?
